Shipping Management Module

The Shipping management module is used to manage order shipments through the use of two main tabs the "Order Detail (Not Shipped) and the Items Shipped tabs.  Order received from the Sales Order module will automatically appear in the Order Detail (Not Shipped) tab.  When the shippers are ready to process the order they will first retrieve the order (1), and then click the SHIP ALL LINE ITEMS (2) Button or will retrieve each individual line tem and ship a specific quantity (i.e. 4 of 5).  You can ship a specific quantity by clicking the "(F5) Ship Specific Item Qty" button or by pressing the F5 key on your keyboard.  .  Once an item is marked as shipped it is automatically moved to the Items Shipped Tab.

LOOKUP BY REFERENCE NO - This selection box is used to look up an order to be shipped by a unique customer reference number.   

LOOKUP BY ORDER ID - This selection box is used to look up an order to be shipped by a unique Order ID number.   

ORDER DATE - Used to show the original order date.

REQUIRED DATE - Used to show the date the order is required by the customer.

CUSTOMER REFERENCE NO. - Used to show the customer's reference number for this order.  IF the customer did not provide a reference number such as a PO#, then the customer's name will be displayed

ORDER DETAIL (NOT SHIPPED) - This tab holds all open order that have not been market as shipped..

SHIP ALL LINE ITEMS - The Ship All Line Items tab is used to mark all line items as shipped for a specific order.  

LOOKUP BY LINE NO - Selection box used to look up a specific line item on an order by line number. 

LOOKUP BY SEARCH NAME - Selection box used to look up a specific line item on an order by search name. 

LOOKUP BY PRODUCT DESCRIPTION - Selection box used to look up a specific line item on an order by product description. 

LINE ITEM DETAIL TO SHIP - This section is used specify the quantity of a specific line item on an order to ship.

Line No - Shows the current line items line number.  The line number is an alphanumeric field.

Product Description - Shows the current line item's product description.

Measure - Shows the current line item's unit of measure.

Qty Ordered - Shows the original quantity ordered for this line item.

Qty Remain - Shows the quantity that will remain after the order has been shipped.

QTY TO SHIP - Used to enter the desired quantity for this line item to be shipped.  If less than the full amount is shipped, then the order is considered a partial order.

SHIP DATE - Used to enter the specific date this line item will be shipped.

SHIP METHOD - Used to select or enter the specific shipment method for this line item. 

TRACKING # - Used to enter a specific tracking number for this line item.

(F5) SHIP SPECIFIC ITEM - This button is used to mark the line item as shipped and move the line item to the Items Shipped tab.  The line item can be shipped by clicking the button with your mouse or by pressing the F5 key on your keyboard. 

EXIT FORM--Used to EXIT the current form.
