Payroll Tab

The Employee Payroll Tab is used to enter or show employee salary and withholding set Payroll Withholding information 

SOCIAL SECURITY NO--Used to enter or show the current employee's SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.

HOURLY RATE--Used  to enter or show Hourly Rate information.  The YEARLY GROSS SALARY is automatically computed when the mouse is clicked on a different spot on the form.

YEARLY GROSS SALARY--Used  to enter or show the employee's YEARLY GROSS SALARY.    The HOURLY RATE is automatically computed when you click away from the YGS box.

PAYMENT FREQUENCE--Used to enter or show the employee's Payment Frequency or Cycle.

FILING STATUS
--Used to enter or show the current employee's TAX FILING STATUS.  Options are Single, Married Filing Separate, Married Filing Joint, and Head of House Hold.

# OF FEDERAL EXEMPTIONS--Used to enter the current employees number of FEDERAL EXEMPTIONS.  This information should be taken from Federal Tax Form  W4 which can be downloaded direct from http://www.irs.gov/forms_pubs/findfiles.html . Search for form "W4".

ADDITIONAL FEDERAL WITHHOLDING H AMT--Used to enter or show the ADDITIONAL AMOUNT of federal taxes the employee wishes to withhold from pay in Federal Taxes.

SALARY HOURS PER CYCLE-- Used to enter or show the Salary Hours Per Pay Period or Cycle.  This field is automatically calculated when the Payment Frequency is changed,

OT RATE--Used to enter or show the current Overtime rate for the employee.  The default value is 1.5 times the HOURLY RATE. 

PAY PERIODS--Used to enter or show the current number of Pay Periods is a Fiscal Year

DEDUCTION AMOUNT PER FRDERAL EXEMTION
--Used to enter the current years FEDERAL DEDUCTION AMOUNT PER EXEMPTION CLAIMEND ON W4. This information can be taken from current years tax forms or contact your local Tax Office.

DEDUCTION AMOUNT PER STATE EXEMTION
--Used to enter the current years STATE DEDUCTION AMOUNT PER EXEMPTION. This information can be taken from current years State Tax Forms or contact your local Tax Office.
