The Customer Account Tab  is used to track Customer Accounts Receivable information.
Acc Open Date - The Account Open Date field is used to record the date the customer's account was opened.  Enter a date in this field in the format MM-DD-YY.
Account Status - the Account Status field is used to set the status of the customer account for granting credit or extending terms other than Payment Upon Receipt.  The default status is New. 
Sales Tax Exempt ID - The Sales Tax Exempt ID field is used to record the customer's Tax Exempt ID number.  Any customer that is Tax Exempt should be required to provide a tax exempt ID Number for tax reporting purposes. 
Taxable? - The Taxable combo selection box is used to indicate if the customer should be charge sales taxes (Taxable = YES) or to indicate if the customer should be Tax Exempt (Taxable? = NO).  The default tax status is Taxable =YES.  If taxable = NO is set the customer will not be charged Sales taxes by default.  This value can be overridden in the Invoice or Lease module.
Open Invoice Limit - The Open Invoice Limit field is used to indicate the credit threshold for Open or Accounts Receivable invoice.  If a customer has TOTAL open invoices greater than this amount the customer Limit field will be highlighted in red within this module and within the Order Entry and Maintenance Module.  The invoice limit field is only visual threshold limit and will not prevent orders from being taken or filled.   
Open Invoice Balance - The Open Invoice Balance field is used to show the customer's current balance of Accounts Receivables for invoices. 
Leased Or Financed Credit Limit - the Leased or Financed Credit Limit field is used to set the customers Lease or In-house finance credit threshold limit.  When this limit is exceeded the customers Account Limit is highlighted in red on this tab and within the Lease Module.
Open Lease or Finance Balance  - This field shows the total Open Lease or In-house finance orders to date.
Finance Rate - This field is used to set the default finance rate for Leased or in-house finance items.
Account Total Credit Limit - The Account Total Credit Limit Field is used to indicate the total of Lease Credit Limit plus the Open Invoice Limit. 
Account Total Credit Balance - The Account total Credit Balance field is used to show the customers current open account balance for leases and accounts receivables invoices.
Default Payment Terms - The default payment terms field is used to set the customers default terms for order.  By default all customers are assigned the Payable Upon Receipt term.
Default Discount - The Default Discount field is used to automatically provide a customer an additional discount for all purchases.  Notice - When setting this field you must consider your minimum market percentages to insure you are maintaining a profitable sale price on goods.
